The morning story

I haul my ass out of bed, grab a bikini and my camera bag (prepared the evening before) and drag myself to the car. I pick up Martin, one of the best young Swiss wakeboarders today, who is drinking his first Red Bull (he will end up drinking three of them before 8:00am). We head to the harbour two towns away, where the board is waiting for us.

Finally, the motor cranks up and we drive slowly across the calm lake of Neuchatel. We are the only damn boat on this flat lake, and the sun is slowly rising behind the far-off mountains. The lake is still very warm from the latest heat wave, so Martin jumps in without hesitation.
