As a part of our national snowboard team, he represents our country at numerous slopestyle and big air events throughout the winter. What most of you might not know about Carlos is the fact that he’s also an enthusiast of salty water and a great surfer. Even though our beautiful little country has a lot to offer, we’re lacking out on a lot of fun when it comes to surfing. Living in Switzerland means you have to travel to get some swell… Or you get creative and try to get the surf feeling elsewhere. On the mountain for instance.

Paddling in the powder soon seemed quite foolish and standing up and riding the surfboard on snow was harder than expected. Luckily for Carlos, the guys from K2 snowboards had similar cravings for a surfy vibe on the mountain. They hooked us up with a sick board from their Enjoyer range. The ‘Cool Bean’ quickly fulfilled our expectations as a surf-inspired powder board. Check the video below to see how Carlos found a solution to his cravings for swell in a country without any waves!
