Eerie with Celia and Maca

Snow

Eerie originally means "strange, odd, unexpected..." for the record!

Stubaital

Maca and I arrived in Stubaital (Stubai valley) late Monday evening and directly drove to our Airbnb where we met Celia. As soon as we opened the door Celia screamed out in barely contained glee “there are multiple cats”! Not knowing what she was talking about, we ignored her comment at first – we just wanted to get into the house, cats or no cats. After a few minutes Celia (clearly excited about those cats) explained her hysteria. Apparently, she was a big part in the new Whiteout magazine and she was asked to produce a profile picture with a cat, which would be the cover shot of the article. Why cats? I’m still not sure, there must be an inside joke somewhere… Nevertheless, this picture had to be done by tomorrow evening and she finally had found the lucky “bunch of cats” to shoot with.

Tramadol Buy Online Uk In the morning, we started our day with the much awaited cat photo shoot. Unfortunately, the littles beasts hated each other and wouldn’t accept to be held at less than two meters apart. After an hour of forcing the four creatures to sit next to each other without starting a bitch fight, we gave up and left for the mountain, defeated. The shot would not make it into the magazine.

Stubai Glacier

https://giannifava.org/23iv1slq We finally get to the slopes where the sun is shining, and the Stubai Zoo park looks perfect! We line up a few runs and start shooting. All three of us were keen on the idea to film something different, make an edit that was more experimental. Although that sounded good in our heads, we didn’t really know where to start… So, we went with the flow, each of us doing what we knew best and… TADAAAA… turned out quite good, if I do say so myself. I know it often looks like we know what we are doing, but the truth is: we don’t! Not always. Sometimes it feels good to simply try out new things, uncommon angles, other zoom effects… God I failed so many times and it turns out that doing something different is harder than doing the usual, who knew?!

https://ncmm.org/3ttdsd8 This is when we came up with the name “Eerie” which means: unusual, strange, uncommon… To be honest, none of us knew what it meant and I’m sure most are learning the proper definition of this word today! You will fall asleep a little less dumb and we are glad to be the reason why!

Paddy Graham, which shared some of the best ideas we had heard yet, supported ideation session. Apparently, experience in the business pays off!
